- The Turkish Expansion III-

 Tuesday 22 March 2011

POLAT RENAISSANCE ISTANBUL HOTEL

Istanbul - Turkey

MARE FORUM ISTANBUL and EUROPORT ISTANBUL JOIN FORCES

There is a lot to talk about in Turkish shipping and shipbuilding. And a lot of business to be done in Turkey. Two major events have now come together to provide the perfect platform for discussion and business. Europort Istanbul and Mare Forum Istanbul have joined forces to create one event taking place from 22 to 26 March 2011.  Mare Forum Istanbul will be held one day prior to Europort Istanbul. Delegates will set the scene and see the trends, then go to the trade fair armed with new knowledge and new contacts.

Mare Forum Istanbul 2011 – The Turkish Expansion III
Turkey is the bright spot of Europe. And the bright spot of the Middle East. Its banks are stable, its workforce is capable, its ports are prepared and its entrepreneurs are hungry. In a recovering global economy Turkey is fulfilling its promise as a bridge between Europe and Asia, and building a position as a maritime nation in its own right. Maritime in all respects, home to entrepreneurial and capable shipowning, high quality and cost-effective innovative shipbuilding, safe and exciting cruise destinations, a creator of beautiful yachts and complex projects, and as a vital guarantor of safe energy delivery.

At the third Turkish Mare Forum leading Turkish politicians, shipowners, shipbuilders, cruise destination managers, manufacturers, financers, shippers, regulators, brokers, journalists entrepreneurs and energy companies will come together with international shipowners, financiers and other members of the international maritime community to discuss Turkey’s place in the maritime world and how working with Turkey can benefit global companies. Those delegates will be reinforced by some of the 8,000 maritime professionals who attend Europort Istanbul, and Europort Istanbul will benefit from the flow of well informed and well connected delegates who have been stimulated by the free flowing, open and informal discussions which are the hallmark of Mare Forum.

Istanbul in March is waking up from winter, and Turkey is waking up to its opportunities. Be part of that, enjoy the lovely city, benefit from the key contacts and clear discussions. Understand Turkish maritime potential. Be at Mare Forum Istanbul and Europort Istanbul.
